One of a kind, custom-made items are all about choices. If you want to order a custom strap, here are some things to think about:

Do you want hand carving? Carving leather, which requires a special knife and great skill, creates a dimensional look with extra depth.

Do you want your strap tooled or stamped? Tooling and stamping use pressure to imprint the leather.

What type of leather do you want? Veg-tan leather can be carved and tooled, but other soft leathers such as calf-skin and suede cannot. However, these super-soft leathers can be adorned with conchos, studs, appliques, etc. You may also specify exotic hides, such as snakeskin, for the whole strap or as an inlay.

Next, what backing do you want? Some choices are suede, calf-skin, natural leather.

What color — and what type of color — do you want? Oil dyes give a deep, warm color, while acrylics can be painted on for more vibrant effects.

How wide do you want it? A standard strap is two inches wide.

How long do you want it? Do you want it to be adjustable or non-adjustable? How close do you want the adjustment holes?

Is your design copyrighted or trademarked? If so, the law is the law and I won't break it. Sorry.
