As a youth, I was consumed by two worlds: custom leather work and guitar. So it was only natural that I would end up making my own custom straps to match both my guitars and my personality.
It wasn't long before all my guitar-playing buddies wanted one, too, and thus Medina-Made began.
Sometimes it seems a lot of so-called custom guitar strap companies have no idea what players really want, or any idea what the word "custom" really means. Ask yourself this question: How can a company that kicks out thousands of straps a day make each one of them custom?
Yes, these days the word "custom" is used pretty lightly and loosely. But to me it means one way — your way. A strap built to your specifications and ideas.
To me, it means Medina-Made.
You can choose one of my already designed styles in stock, or pick something that's totally your own. That's what's great about it!
And if you're like me, you prize each and every instrument you own. Trusting it to a mass-produced strap is out of the question. With a Medina-Made strap, you'll play with confidence knowing the highest possible levels of quality mean a better fitting, more secure strap.
So look around the site, spend a little time looking at all the options available, and pay particular attention to the workmanship and detail. I use only the best for the best — you.
My straps are made with pride in my Lapeer, Michigan workshop, right here in the USA, and sold to customers throughout the world. While every custom strap is unique, all share one thing: my heart and soul goes into the making of every strap I create.
Peace
